Hair Flowers

When it comes to being a girly girl and thinking about my future wedding, I can't decide if I would want to wear a veil or not.

Homemade Cakes

Once Wed is currently doing a brilliant series of homemade wedding cakes. So far, they've only shown two and I already have a favorite.

Quaint Spanish Wedding

When I saw this beautiful spanish wedding on Once Wed, I just about squealed. Don't you just love her braid? So simple and girly. And those lights over the tables?! Oh my.

The fact that this wedding was in Spain just makes it that much more romantic.

Pretty Flowers

I am a huge fan of flowers. For a vase, for the hair, as an accessory. When I saw what Kathleen did for her dog's collar, I just about melted. Then when I saw she made it from a tutorial, I think I squealed.

The tutorial is from Martha Stewart Weddings. They have 5 different tutorials to choose from, each containing several sizes. Can't wait to try these out!

Dreaming of a Wedding

Lately, the boy and I have been talking a lot about marriage. We're really crossing our fingers we can make it work next year. I get giddy just thinking about it and the possibilities. However, the thought of spending all that money kills my excitement. The things that I'm oooing and aaahhing over are just way too expensive for us. I am completely in love with photography by Tec Petaja (his work is absolutely breathtaking) and set styling by Joy Thigpen (I mean, whoa! So beautiful). But Tec's base packages are around 5k and Joy typically works with weddings that are a minimum of 50k. All those numbers just make me sad.

I'm trying to contact an acquaintance of my mother, hoping we can hold the wedding in their backyard. Wouldn't it be so fantastic if I could get things donated? I have this dream of having such a beautiful beautiful wedding, but since I'll be paying for it myself, it will be a little difficult. Any wedding people want to do some pro-bono work?!

Awesome wedding video

Max & Margaux's wedding has been well documented all over the wedding world. And rightfully so. It is beautiful. Just beautiful. You can see parts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 over at Once Wed, but I just had to post this video. I love the dancing feet.

I am completely in love with these wedding invitations designed by Promise Tangeman. I like how she incorporated different elements like distressed paint and lace. So inspiring. Nicely done, Promise.

Chelsea Fuss has been sharing amazing DIY wedding ideas over at Project wedding. I'm loving these DIY wedding paper goods. Use a stamp, a white pen and dark paper and voila!

Picnic Club: Joanna you're a genius

Lazy, afternoon picnics have always been on my list of favorite things. Laying in the freshly mowed grass, people watching, eating fresh, summer fruits. Could anything be much better? Add a few friends and some frisbees and you've got a perfect afternoon.
