I have to say, Fall is definitely my favorite season. But I do get excited about breezy summer dresses, hats and sequined bags. Isn't this the perfect outfit for a date night walk along the beach? And pull those cute zebras out if you feel a salty chill.

Fall is my absolute favorite season. Don't you just love layering your clothes and cuddling up by a fire with some hot chocolate? What a great way to spend an evening.

Party Dress

I'm seeing a theme in my last couple of posts...BIRTHDAY!! Keeping in theme...let's talk about party dresses! As I mentioned before, the boy has planned an entire day with birthday activities this weekend. He made a comment a week or so ago about having dinner reservations to fancy shmancy place. I don't really have a lot of dresses, so here's some inspiration (even though I could probably only afford one of these dresses :)

Girly vs. Tomboy

I grew up in a sports-afilliated household. My dad was a sportscaster for a local TV station and my mom was a professional golfer. I attended my first baseball game at the tender age of 2 weeks. (Yes, I was 2 weeks old!) I played baseball/softball for many years. Gave golf a shot, wanted to try football but I wasn't allowed. (What is that about?!)

Saying all of that, I find it hard to be more on the girly side of things. I do my best sometimes (especially on date nights!) to do the dress-fingernails painted-hair done-makeup on-bit. (Never do I do the high heel bit.) Sometimes, I fail. I just can't help but be drawn to the tomboy look. Alas, another look I just can't help but loving. (Minus the shoes and notebook.)

Love + Tattoos

I keep going back in forth with the idea of getting a tattoo. Do I want it, do I not? Will I regret it in 15 years? Will it come back to haunt me? I keep telling myself, 'Remember Jennifer, you can't wipe it off. It's there forever.'

However, I'm really liking this 'Love' tattoo on the back of this bride's neck. So quaint, femenine and the script is beautiful.
