Dancing Baby

On one hand, this creeps me out of ever wanting to have kids. On the other, God is so amazing.

Thanksgiving Project

I'm trying to refrain from posting too much about Christmas (I'm so excited!), so I'll post about a fun thanksgiving project. Great if you have kids.

The awesome people over at Silverbox Design created these beautiful Thanksgiving printables which can be cut into strips and used as napkin rings, tags and even a paper chain. They also have space to write down what you're thankful for! Download the template and happy thanksgiving!

PS. My roommate (who teaches at a pre-school) told me one of her kids calls it, "Thank-you giving". How precious!

You're beautiful, Marilyn.

Queen of Hearts

To all my family and friends, I'm known as the crazy dreamer. Literally. After a goodnight's rest, I can give you, in detail, the most insane dream you've ever heard.

Last night, my dream was glamorous. I dreamt about these babies...

Since I dreamt about them, that means I should buy them right?

It's all about the food.

When my family and I go on vacation we have a saying... "It's all about the food." We eat breakfast, but we're really thinking about where to go for dinner. (:

I am missing my family today, so I thought this was appropriate.

Frank had all of his tech-savvy friends help him propose to his girlfriend in Central Park. So sweet!

Love with glitter

I guess I have glitter on the brain. I can't get enough of the holiday season. Or Ashley Meaders for that matter. Check out her lovely DIY. She spray painted directly onto the picture to create a "frame". Seriously, genius.

Pretty Spring Colors

As much as I love love love Fall & Winter + the holiday season, I can't help but oo and aw over JCrew's 2011 Spring Collection. Look at those colors!

Holiday Sparkle

Are you doing some holiday party planning? Check out a great hair-do and something sparkly to go along with it.

Fiery side chignon

Whoa! That was my first reaction. To the fire engine red hair. To the red red lipstick. To the beautiful hairdo. Now I'm antsy for the opportunity to attend a holiday party. Just so I can do my hair like this. Simply gorgeous.

Check out the how-to.

(This has been posted several times throughout the blogosphere, but I just couldn't resist.

Dreamy

This is the most beautiful mother/daughter photo I've ever seen.

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon!

Anthropologie Windows

As we all know, I am a HUGE fan of Anthropologie. I just love all their home pieces and each piece of clothing. Swoon.

Whenever I need a creative pick-me-up, I turn to Anthro. Here's a little creative juice for ya.

the Funival

Our church puts on a "funival" for Halloween every year. This year, I got help out in several different areas and had a blast! The boy's mom and I set right to work after the church service. We made a TON of lemonade, hot chocolate, apple cider and some toppings for the hotdogs. After helping and get everything set up, I got to walk around for a little to oo and aahh at all the littles. Their costumes were so cute!

I also had the last time slot to face paint with one of my favorite women at church. So much fun! Can't wait 'till next year!

Did you dress up for Halloween?

I miss you.

I don't want to talk about it to you
I'm not an open book that you can rifle through
The cold hard truth that you'll see right to
I'm just basket case without you

He's not a magic man or a perfect fit
But had a steady hand and I got used to it
And a glass cage heart and invited me in
And now I'm just a basket case without him

You're begging for the truth
So I'm saying it to you
I've been saving your place
And what good does it do?
Now I'm just a basket case
Now I'm just a basket case

I don't say much and it'll stay that way
You got a steel train touch and I'm just a track you lay
So I'll stay right here underneath you

I'm just a basket case and that what we do

You're begging for the truth
So I'm saying it to you
I've been saving your place
And what good does it do?
Now I'm just a basket case

Won't somebody come on in and tug at my seams?
Oh, send your armies in of robbers and thieves
To steal the state I'm in I don't want it anymore

You're begging for the truth
So I'm saying it to you
I've been saving your place
And what good does it do?
Now I'm just a basket case

I know you're reading this. So I'll just go ahead and tell you...I miss you. I know we have a lot to work through, and a lot to talk about. But just know...
