Photo Love

I'm in the process of putting some pieces together for a gallery wall behind my couch. This print would go perfectly.

Girls Weekend!

I have been friends with Laura since the 8th grade. She's recently moved back into town and we had a girls night at my apt. We watched "The Social Network", made a yummy dinner and then attempted to make our own version of the girl scout samoa cookie(They looked absolutely nothing like the picture and truthfully, they weren't very good. I think we'll settle for just buying the box next time. :)  In the midst of all that we had time for laughs, singing along with Bruno Mars and of course (like every good sleep over) talking about boys. The following day we discovered Yeah! Burger. (I fell in love with all the design there. Fantastic.)

That night I went out for my friend Nikki's birthday. We ate at Twist. Yumm-o.

Gift Cards

The boy had a little trouble with my Christmas gift this year. Found the perfect item, went to the store to pick it up and they were out of it. After going to one store, then calling another, he ended up ordering it online. (If you're wondering, it was a beautiful crotched scarf. He wanted me to wear it while I was in Chicago for the holiday.) Following the online order was an email saying the item had been discontinued. Bless his heart, he couldn't catch a break. After all that, he ended up with a gift card, but wanted to put it in something. He found the perfect item...

(clutch is found here)

Isn't it just adorable? It makes my heart happy. Nevertheless, I still have a gift card to use. And this cheeky little item has caught my eye. What do you think?

(owl is found here)

ps. I also have a Kate Spade gift card for $100.  Any ideas on what to get?

Loving: Pennant Flags

Maybe they're a trend, maybe not. Either way, I'm still in love.

Par-tay

"Wow, all you need now is The Killing Fields and some guacamole and you've got yourself a part-ay." Oh, Monica Gellar, how you capture my heart. (Well, all the friends do really.)

On NYE, my roommate and I threw a party. Drinks, the famous cheese dip and lots of laughs & dancing. Had a BLAST!

(btw, before the party started, we were told of a strict no-picture policy after 11pm. The girls sucked it up and took as much as we good as quickly as possible.)

The past 2 years we've been to Intermezzo's before we go back and start the real party. (;
My nutella and strawberry crepe was a piece of heaven.

This is Laura. We've been buddies since the 8th grade. She made oreo truffles for the party.

The boy decided to steal the oreo truffles and hide in the corner for a while.

Happy New Year!

Is it too late to say Happy New Year? I hope not. Since I haven't told you lovelies yet, I will now. I hope your year is starting off with a bang! and you're having a blast. Today has been a snow day for us here in GA (6-10 inches in places!) and I'm completely iced in. And happy to say, I've been with my love all day.

Since I'm doing some catch up, here's how I spent my white Christmas...

My Gma's Christmas tree. She always tries to be House Beautiful. (:

We always go out to eat on Christmas Eve. We went to Flemings and mom and I shared some Whiting fish. Yumm-o.

Mom and I at dinner.

Being the snob that she is, my gma asked for a Coach purse for Christmas. (It's ok, she knows she's a snob. (:  )We all chipped in and got her one. She does this move with her finger when she's excited. It's usually followed by "Beautiful dahhling."

SOOO excited about my TOMS.

Waiting for the train to go downtown for a few days. (:

I always take pictures of the Allerton Hotel everytime I'm in downtown Chi-town. It's kind of tradition. (:

Although we didn't have good pizza at Giordano's, we had a fun time waiting in the bar.
