I am completely in love with this spring look from (of course!) Anthropologie. I love love love how they layered the two shirts. Swoon.

Photography
When I first got my camera, almost 2 years ago, my goal was to break into the hard business of family portraits, engagements and weddings. I constantly follow beautiful wedding related photography blogs such as Tec Petaja, Jose Villa, Troy Grover and Jasmine Star; so I immediately wanted to follow in their footsteps. After completing a handful of family, baby portraits and a wedding, I'm beginning to think, maybe I'm not cut out for this. The directing of people, getting kids to sit straight, arranging clothing...it's a bit much. Since I'm such a people pleaser, it makes me feel a bit bossy. Haha.
Therefore, I think I'm going to experiment in a different area of photography. Food. My latest inspiration? Katie Davies.

How do I love thee, let me count the ways...
My boy had a little Shakespeare in him this morning. I awoke to this text...
Isn't he dreamy?

Messy side ponytail
Wanted to try the side ponytail featured on A Cup of Jo yesterday. I think it turned out pretty good! I even teased the actual ponytail to get a little more volume (since my hair is so fine). So fun! Thanks Joanna! (:

Cable & Cotton
I'm dying to purchase some of these beautiful string lights. Wouldn't they perfect for an outside dinner party? I think I would want mine in all white. (:
Type on fire
I am a BIG lover of typography. I love the way you can mix different fonts together and voilĂ ! You have a beautiful piece of artwork. (:
How beautiful is this "type on fire"?

Dexter Posters
Recently I've been streaming TV shows through Netflix trying to find some new one's to catch on to. I fell completely in love with Psych (SO! funny). After Psych I had a difficult time finding something just as good. Then I ran into Dexter. Man, oh man. I'm not sure what it is about this show that hooked me, but if you have Netflix, I highly recommend.
A few days ago I was skimming through archives on design blogs and came across these Dexter posters. I just about squealed out loud. Each one captures each season perfectly. And the illustration is just fantastic! I've fallen in love with Mattson Creative. (And the process of the posters being printed!)
Ty Mattson with Michael C. Hall!
