Festive Nail Polish

Last year, I decided to host a New Year's Eve party in my tiny 600 sq ft apartment. There were only 6 people and we had an absolute blast. Streamers, cake, champagne and polaroids.

A year later, I am in a 1200 sq ft apartment and wanting to make this party an annual thing. I'm pretty bad at planning the actual event, but I can't stop thinking about my outfit. These lovely nail polishes are making me giddy with New Years Eve glee.

Grandma Rose

I only see my grandmother about 2 times a year. (3 if I'm lucky) I saw her in October at Hilton Head and now again 2 months later. I'm a lucky girl! She might just be my favorite relative. She's hilarious, makes fabulous food, would rather play a card game than watch tv and is slightly snobby (which always cracks my mom and me up).

Christmas Present Dilemma

The dilemma: I was going to buy my mom a groupon to get her hair done for christmas. The salon told me they were completely booked on Monday the 27th. We will be in downtown Chicago on the 26th & 27th. Do you have a deal you can give me? I will even take pictures and review the salon on the blog if needed.

If you're located in downtown chicago or know someone that is that can help me out, I'd really appreciate it!

(The image: that's how I would feel if you could help me out)

Beautiful home in my beautiful town...

I just about squealed in my sick state when I saw these beautiful images. I got even more excited when I saw this house resides in Georgia. What took the cake? It's owned by Atlanta Braves player, Derek Lowe. (:

Check out the "Go Braves" drawing on the chalkboard wall!

Polaroid Love

Yesterday I went to the doctor and he told me I have bronchitis. Boo.

Watercolored Greeting Cards

To expand my painting horizons, I've been working with some watercolor and making sets of greeting cards. My roommate ordered 4 sets for Christmas gifts. (Yay!) I completed a few last night while we watched a movie in front of the fire.

I'm having so much fun making them and being creative. After Christmas, sets will be available for sale in my shop. So check back after christmas!

Hey, It's Christmas!

I love me some Christmas music. I love it even more when it's free

Casino Christmas Party

On Friday night I was my mom's date to her office Christmas party. They company went all out and held the party at Reynold's Plantation. There was dancing, poker & black jack, yummy food and drinks and good laughs. Loving the holiday season!

Me and Laura! We've known each other since birth. Literally.

Me and Mom! Aren't we cute?

Laura and I each stole a disco ball from the party. Yesss!

The Past Few Weeks

I have been so busy the past few weeks! Working like crazy, I've been sick and also getting ready for the holidays. Here's what I've been up to...

Every Thanksgiving, the boy's family goes over to Stone Mountain to walk through the Christmas village, play miniature golf and ride the train.

This was on our 2-year anniversary. I like to make him take pictures. (:

My friends and I went to a Christmas concert. It was fabulous!

The roommate and I decorated our apartment! Her mom gave us a little Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

We also put up a tree on the wall!

The boy made me some snowflakes for my desk at work!
