Happy Greetings
My friend, Gus the pirate owl (I intend to put a patch over his eye) posed for some pictures with my new Happy Greeting cards.
(Gus was a christmas gift and is from Anthropologie. Cards available for purchase on etsy.)

Watercolored Greeting Cards
To expand my painting horizons, I've been working with some watercolor and making sets of greeting cards. My roommate ordered 4 sets for Christmas gifts. (Yay!) I completed a few last night while we watched a movie in front of the fire.
I'm having so much fun making them and being creative. After Christmas, sets will be available for sale in my shop. So check back after christmas!

Flowers and Couches
A while back I painted this great floral piece.

Once I entered into the festival, and someone saw a picture, it sold pretty quickly.
Today, I was in Anthropologie and saw the couch that was my inspiration for the piece. I almost screamed. Thank you, Anthropologie, for making my day.

Take a little visit.

I've re-opened my etsy shop. I've added the items that didn't sell in the festival. Go take a peek. Tell your family. Tell your friends. Tell everyone you know. Spread the word.

I sold some art!
The festival was a success! I sold 4 paintings. There were 30 vendors in the festival and thankfully, I was on the lawn. The heat was almost unbearable, but I met some great people and had a good time. It's such a neat feeling knowing something I created is hanging in someone's house.
My two favorite parts of the day:
1. When I sold my first painting. (This family with two little twin girls bought "Sundress" [3rd picture down, yellow painting with red flowers]. The little girls picked it out, they were so excited. :) )
2. Later, 2 girls came by the booth one of them said something that made my day...
"Your paintings make me feel happy."
Dear girl, you make me happy. :)

Stamp It!
It's 9 days until my first art festival! I am completely overwhelmed with stress, anxiety and excitement. A few weeks ago I decided that I needed to have business cards made. I found this lovely little etsy shop called brown pigeon. Meagan was so great and crafted exactly what I had in mind!
